Harmony West Community Development District
The Harmony West Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on April 18, 2017 by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners, Osceola County, Florida Ordinance No. 2017-02, for the purpose of financing or acquiring, maintaining and operating a portion of the infrastructure necessary for community development within the District.
An elected board shall have the power to levy and assess a non-ad valorem special assessment on all benefited property in the district to construct, operate and maintain assessable improvements. The fiscal year of the district runs from October 1 – September 30.
The Harmony West CDD encompasses an area of approximately 287.10 acres entirely within the unincorporated limits of Osceola County Florida as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.

The Harmony West Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on June 14, 2017 by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners, Osceola County, Florida Ordinance No. 2017-02. The District’s Special Powers are granted under Section 190.011 and 190.012(1), (2)(a),(2)(d),(3)&(4), Florida Statutes.
